Address Format Guidelines

Accurately formatting postal addresses is crucial for successful delivery.

Important Notes

  • Only include addresses that have a postal code, as this ensures the address can be used for mailing.
  • For addresses in the USA, use state abbreviations. Refer to  this guide for abbreviations .
  • If an address includes a P.O Box, write it exactly as "P.O Box XXXXX" to maintain clarity and accuracy.

If you do not want to source the postal addresses yourself, we offer this an an optional add-on service. Please contact  barry@leadable.io  if you would like to learn more.

For USA Addresses

Address 1: This should contain the street / building name or number.
Address 2: Include specifics like room number, suite number, etc., that are closest to the person.
City: Always include the city name.
State/Province: Use the standard two-letter postal abbreviation instead of the actual state name. We cannot process an item unless we have this. Please refer to  this guide for abbreviations .
Zip/Postal Code: Always include the zip code.
Country Code: Always use "US" instead of "United States" or "USA."
